Mose Lee Robinson Jr.

1946 - 2024

Deacon Mose Lee Robinson, Jr. entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Passages Hospice, at the age of 78. He was born in Gloster, MS on January 15, 1946, to Mose Robinson, Sr. and Lourener Robinson. He was a member of Austerlitz Street Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA for many years. He later joined Resurrection Missionary Baptist Church. He lived a life of faith and loved his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Myrtis Robinson, sons, Minister Roderick Robinson, Jimmie Brown, and Kevin Robinson; daughters, Maxine Carroll, Angie Veal, Jhane Eugene, Katrina Robinson, and Richelle Robinson; two daughters-in-law, Alicia Robinson and Loretta Brown; one son in-law, Jerry Veal, fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers, Mack Robinson and Percy Henry Porter; three sisters, Gloria Blake, Jenice Bates, and Dolly Robinson; one Godson, Clarence Bates, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by parents Mose Robinson, Sr. and Lourener Robinson; two sisters, Julia Weathersby and Joann Vannorman, one brother, Charles Robinson; five brothers-in-law, LC Jenkins, Alton Jenkins, Allen Jenkins Sr., Clarence Bates, Sr. and Willie Alexander; two sisters-in-law, Reaver Kelly and Lillie Rogers. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 5, 2024, (Viewing at 9:00 am) at Resurrection Missionary Baptist Church, 6978 Martin Dr., New Orleans, LA. A Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 5092 Bean Road, Liberty, MS.
