Mourivert Mouton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mourivert Mouton (Tootsie), age 83, of New Orleans, on December 9, 2020. Mourivert passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief and sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alexander and Doloris Connor as well as her spouse, Morris Green. She is survived by daughters Wendy Bucksell Sejour (Serge), Ginger Bucksell Holmes (Eugene Jr.) grandsons Wynton Holmes (Chelsea) and Jose Sejour, granddaughters Mia Holmes Burney (John Mark) and Sydney Holmes, great-grandson John Mark Burney, Jr. and great-granddaughters Bella Holmes and Noah Burney. Mourivert lived a full and lively life. She was generous with her love and extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a blessing to her family and a model of what a loving, generous mother and grandmother should be. In typical Tootsie fashion, she embodied remarkable strength and resilience in her final days before passing on. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Mourivert wished to be cremated and did not wish to have full formal services. Her ashes will be dispersed in a small private service with her family in attendance.
