Myra Loise Cannaliato

Myra "Loise" Cannaliato, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her twin sons; her parents, Edward Joseph Matherne and Pearl Esther Savoie Matherne; her in-laws, Carlo Joseph Cannaliato and Josephine Grace Marziale Cannaliato; her siblings, Robert Matherne, Marion Plaisiance, Ronald Matherne , and Rose Matherne. She is the beloved wife of 50 years of Pascal "Pat" Cannaliato. She is the loving mother of Sue Maria Romaire (Richard Jr), Carla Parr (Roland), and Nicole Cannaliato (Trey Delger). She is the devoted Nana of Justin Romaire (Rebecca), Gabrielle Childress (Joe), Synee Delger (Brandon), Nathaniel Parr, Josephine Parr, and Zachary Delger. Sge is the great Nana of Logan, Landen, and Daphny. She is the beloved sister of Muriel Dunn, Betty Ford (David), Ted Matherne Sr (Roseanna), Vera Sue Smith, and Jim Matherne Sr. She is the loving sisters-in-law of Lena Oubre, and Anna Debo. She is also survived by godchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A devoted wife, mother and Nana, her first passion was her family. She was known for being the best fan of all of her grandchildren's sports teams and also for cooking meals for her family no matter what time…day or night. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, November 16, 2018 from at 6:00PM until 9:00 PM and beginning again at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
