I worked with Nathan for several years at public grain elevator in New Orleans. Nathan was a good man and always willing to help a friend.

The Nathan we came to know was an honest example of a servant of GOD.
Nathan told stories of fishing in Madisonville and "cutting grass" and related those stories to how GOD had used him to help others at the same time teaching him a life lesson.
When Nathan befriended you saw his love of GOD expressed in his beaming smile, the joy of his sharing and the humility of his service. I rejoice that GOD allowed me to meet and know Nathan.
May GOD and HIS Christ now comfort and embrace all the PICKETT family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Pickett, such a kind ,gentle, soft spoken man. His company did my lawn care on 11th street for many years until Hurricane Katrina and he moved from the neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
