When I heard about your brother from Joy, my immediate thoughts were of you and your mother. I know how close you were to your brother. My first reaction was to pray for peace of mind and of heart for you and your mother as you both endure the pains of such a great loss.
Use this unfortunate event to strenthen the bonds with your children and your close friends and family because they are your most fervent allies. So often we take for granted that our loved ones will be here the next day to hear us say "I love you and you mean the world to me".
This is the time to remember that although life is not everlasting, love is and we should remember to show our family and friends love even in the middle of a difficult time with that person.
Remember God will never bring you to a place where he cannot shine his brightest light upon you to show you the way.
