Please accept my condolences for Tony's passing.
we grew up in the same neighborhood, he on 10th st and myself on Ave A. We had a lot of fun times together as kids, flying kites, skating on the sidewalk in front of Chris and Wayne Plaisance house on Ave A next door to where I lived, playing Tops in a game of what we called Bus-ka-yo, wooden boats in the ditches when we had a large rainfall. We would all hunt in the woods with our BB guns behind the horse stables across the pump canal at 12th st. We all snuck in boats to go for a swim past the boat launch in the airport canals behind what was called the long cut off back of Westwego canal. We had some great times growing up, Tony was a good friend and we all hung around together as kids and I have had the experience with working with him at Jefferson Parish Engineering Dept, always helpful and getting the job done right. I am sorry for the loss of him so early. God has called on him for another job duty and I know he will fill the job well.
God bless and rest in peace my friend.
Respectfully, your friend

We at Perrin & Carter, Inc. are very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a fine man and we enjoyed working with him. We will miss seeing him on our projects very much. He was a conscientious inspector for Jefferson Parish always looking out for the Parish's interest, but he always had a friendly attitude. We considered him a friend as well as an associate we saw on all east bank site work projects. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Sincerely
Mike Carter
