O'Neal Brown

O'Neal Brown passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2022. O'Neal was born on January 1, 1941 in Sandy Hook, MS. He later moved to New Orleans in 1965 and worked as a Longshoreman at Cooper T. Smith for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Lillian Brown, children: Bryant Brown (Karen) and Natisha Wells (Airlanzo); 6 grandchildren: Alondre and Justin Wells, Roddriona, Chantel, Gregory and Grace Brown; sister Ruth Hosey (Jock), and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Georgene and Rufus Brown of Sandy Hook, MS.; and siblings Bonnie Morgan and Osside Brown. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 for 11:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA. Due to Covid-19, all attendees are Required to wear face masks.
