Oakland (Musty) Joseph Pete, Sr. on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Bloomfield, CT. Beloved husband of Elaine Navarre Pete. Father of Lorna P. Bennett, Nathan Pete, Sr. and Oakland (Rusty) Pete, Jr. Son of the late Auckland and Camille Pete. Brother of Henry Brown, Mildred Revell, John Larche, Sr. and Rose Mary Jackson. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 24, 2006 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue at 8:45 a.m. Visitation 7:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make monetary contributions in memory of Oakland Joseph Pete, Sr. to Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Services entrusted to LOUISIANA UNDERTAKING COMPANY, INC. 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., N.O., LA 70116 Jeffery K. Jenkins/Renard A. Boissiere Directors
