Words seem inadequate, yet during times like these, they are all we have to express our thoughts. Our family loss an amazing, beautiful, intelligent young lady who was truly one of our shining stars. Tay Tay was a joy to be around, and it was sheer pleasure to see her accomplish and achieve milestones in a timely manner as she fought CF with all she had. When she was in the hospital during one of her many stays, I asked her to call me if she needed anything. When she called me a couple of days later, she asked me to bring her a couple of books she needed to complete a research project. I asked her if she were sure that she wanted to work so hard while she was in the hospital, and she said:"My teacher gave me extra time, but I won't need it. I can get this done." I offered to help her, but she assured me that she had it, the work was almost done and she just needed a little more info, and I know she did it because when she returned the books, she told me they were very helpful and allowed her to be on time with the research paper. This was Tay Tay: Persistent, strong, smart, conscientious, goal oriented, and appreciative.
God's generosity in giving us this angel for 18 years is wonderful, but the entire family misses her and wishes we had more time. When God called her home, He freed her from all the suffering and pain of CF, and I know she is resting comfortably in the bosom of Jesus. Our Tay will always be loved, remembered, and cherished. May God's grace, mercy, love, and favor allow all of us, especially Ashleigh, to be at peace in ways that only He can provide. With love, Sheila and Jerry Baldwin, Sr.

Ashleigh, Mary Ann, and family, Please accept my deepest condolences. I was both shocked and saddened by the passing of your dear sweet Angel. Though I had not seen her in a long time , I knew she brought much joy and pride to your lives.
