Oliver McKinney Obituary

McKinney, Oliver 'Ali' Oliver "Ali" McKinney entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the age of 58. Husband of Diane McKinney. Son of the late Leroy and Clara Mae McKinney. Father of Trina McKinney. Stepfather of Larry Desvignes. Brother of Edward McKinney, Tyrone McKinney, Ronald McKinney, Laura (Leonard) Johnson, Claire (Ronald) Cambridge, Debra Mutin, Jeanetta (David) Decuir of Houston, TX, Lisa McKinney, Simone Thomas, Tammy (Bryon) Haywood and the late Earl McKinney, Mark McKinney, Michael McKinney, Alma Washington, and Anna Celius. Oliver is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Oliver was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark Senior High School and a former employee of The Times Picayune and The Fair Grounds Race Course. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and members of Abundant Life Full Gospel Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Abundant Life F.G. B.C., 1701 Franklin Ave. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Interment: Providence Cemetery. Arrangements by Rhodes Funeral Home.
