THANK YOU FOR THE CHANCE TO WRITE A FEW WORDS ABOUT MY DEAR FRIEND O J HOOTER.
EVEN THIS MOMENT I REMEMBER HIM FERVENTLY.. HE WAS AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A STEADFAST FRIEND FOR ALL THE DECADES WE WERE TOGETHER. I ASK THE LORD OUR GOD TO ABUNDANTLY BLESS HIS FAMILY AND TO LET HIS FAMILY KNOW THAT I AM MOST WILING TO HELP THEM. THEY JUST HAVE TO LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN DO WITH AND FOR THEM.
JIMMY HOLDS MY PLACE IN ETERNITY SO THAT WE MAY BE TOGHETER IN ETERTNITY. STILL THE BEST OF FRIENDS AND BROTHERS OF THE CROSS.

I had the pleasure of knowing the hooter family they all was so sweet to me I had the pleasure of taking care of Ms Wendy's mother in their home I'm just finding out about Mr Jim so sad so sorry

We spent some good times with Jim, both up in Minnesota, where we first saw him dance, & at festivals in LA. I remember being wowed by his grace, & later learned enough to be able to follow him on the dance floor. He always shared his talents with everyone. Rest in peace Jim.

My deepest sympathy to you Wendy. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that Jesus will wrap His loving arms around all of you, and comfort you while you grieve the loss of Jim. I will always remember you and Jim. In fact, I doubt that I could forget him if I tried to. He sure picked on me when I was your bus driver in Minnesota. Take care and know that you are loved.

I FIRST MET JIMMY AT HOLY CROSS IN THE 1950'S. I WAS A BORDER THEN. JIMMY AND I WER ON THE WRESTELING TEAM WITH BROTHER MELCHIOR MANY GREAT MEN THAT BECAME LIFE LONG FRIENDS.
AFTER GRADUATION, JIMMY AND I STAYED IN TOUCH ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS A MEMBER OF NOPD AND JPSO. I AM HONORED TO BE JIMMY'S FRIEND AND TO HAVE HIM AS MY FRIEND. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AS A DEVOTED HUSBAND AND FATHER. MY LOVE AND PRAYERS ARE FOR AND TO HIS FAMILY. HIS KINDNESS TOWARDS ME AND MY FAMILY (ESPECIALLY CONCERNING FURNITURE) IS UTMOST IN MY MEMORY.
OUR MOTTO SAYS: 'THE HOLY CROSS MAN IS A REFINED GENTLEMAN THAT LIVES BY FAITH AND IS DEDICATED TO THE PURSUIT OF THE TRUE, THE GOOD AND THE BEAUTIFUL". THAT IS THE HOLY CROSS MAN AND THAT IS JIMMY HOOTER.

Wendy & family, our very deepest sympathies for your loss. Jim was a good man and we have wonderful memories of the Cajun dancing and traveling. Our time spent with Jim was a time of laughter and enjoyment. We will bet he is "up there" dancing and appraising angel wings! God Bless!

My prayers are with your family. My father, Jack Zollinger, was good friends with Jimmy. I had the pleasure of working with Jimmy briefly on an appraisal. He was such a light hearted and giving person. So glad God gave me the encounter with him. My prayers are with your family as you heal from the loss of your husband, father, grandfather.
