Osborne Newman Denson

Mr. Osborne Newman Denson, born on August 16, 1963 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Annette Denson and the late George Denson, passed away on October 26, 2018 in New Orleans, Maryland. Osborne attended John McDonogh Sr. High School. He was a cook in the Hotel industry until retiring in 2011. Osborne was the beloved partner of Glenda Gibson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Weaver; and sister, Owinda Denson. Osborne is survived by his sons, Osborne Denson Jr. and Theron Yancy; daughter, Olivia Denson; brothers, George Denson, Amelise Denson, and Alton Denson; sisters, Betty Weaver, Yvonne Bostick-Veal, Elaine Johnson, Annette Denson-Wilson, and Twinkle Denson; grandchild, James Alexander III; and friends, Cynthia Small. He enjoyed barbering. He was a member of Mt. Zion Comm. B.C. Friends and family members may attend the visitation, officiated by Minister Patrick McDowell, on Friday, November 2 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Comm. B.C., 6025 N Robertson Street, New Orleans. Following that, there will be a funeral service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Comm. B.C.
