You were such a loving kind understanding man in this world. I thought you would live forever. When I heard the news of your passing I just cried. I been away from the church for almost 12 years since you preached my husband funeral. I came back 3 or 4 times but couldn´t take it. You and sis Hardywas always in my heart but the children couldn´t take it either.

The Hardy family have my condolences, Pastor Hardy was a loving pastor, he's guilty of spoiling the kids, my daughter was an anxious child, she would cut-up during church services, I would try to sneak outside, Pastor would stop me and say bring that "baby" back inside, she would walk around the church and he would say allow her to walk. She eventually learn to sat down in service, she loved Pastor Hardy, she would say "AMEN Pastor" he would smile and say out the mouths of babes. This is celebration for the Hardy family, he was a true MAN OF GOD.

Rev. DR. WALTER HARDY JR. WAS 1 OF A KIND. I am so glad to have joined LZMBC under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Walter Hardy Jr. We are really going to miss our Pastor. Everybody always spoke very highly of Rev. Hardy and I was glad to let them know that he is My Pastor. Rev fought a good fight but God said Servant Of God Well Done. We Will Forever Love And Miss Our Pastor But We Will Cherish His Memories. There's Not Another Pastor Like Our Rev. Dr. Walter Hardy Jr.

Take your rest Pastor Hardy. You have finished your course. Your 'Sweet Children' are so grateful for the time God allowed us to be led by such an extraordinary man. You will forever be in our hearts, although we are heartbroken. Your powerful spirit lives on in the lessons you taught us - love one another, worship God, be kind to one another, trust in His Word. My dear godfather, all those years ago my parents chose you to be my godfather and I´m so happy, blessed and better because of it, all those years ago at Pure Light B.C. I´m going to miss your smile as I walk through the halls of Ochsner, where we would run into each other over the years. You still remembered my face and my name, even in the later years. I love you and will miss you, but now have another angel in heaven. To one of the "real ones" who answered the call, was chosen, and responded with the power bestowed upon you, given by God.
