Patricia Brown Waters

WATERS Patricia Brown Waters died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the age of 81. She was born on July 22, 1928 in New Orleans. She was the wife of the late Henry Harcourt Waters and the daughter of the late Benjamin Temple Brown and Marie Louise McCall Brown. She was preceded in death by her brother, Temple Brown. She is survived by her daughters Carroll Waters Summerour (Toby), Patricia Whitney Waters, Julie Waters Burlingame (Monty) and Katherine Waters Gelderman (Tony); seven grandchildren, Patrick (Dana), William (Anne) and Kaki Summerour; Brooke, Caroline and Court Burlingame; and Carroll Gelderman; and one great grandchild. Patsy was an active member in the community serving as President of the Boards of the Junior League of New Orleans and the Louise S. McGehee School Parents League. She also served on the boards of the Poydras Home, the Friends of the Cabildo and the American Cancer Society. She was a life long active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, serving on their altar guild and in many other capacities. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a service in celebration of her life at Trinity Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010.
