Ms. Pat... you were on my mind heavy lately so I went looking for you, hoping to visit since I recently moved to Louisiana. I'm truly disappointed I didn't reach out sooner. I appreciate you looking out for me and all the other neighborhood kids who hopped the fence back in the day lol. Your house was like a second home for me... you made me feel welcomed and protected, and always had a hot plate of food waiting for me. Thank you for everything, your memory will live on. She is a woman veteran
Whose service was true
And she proudly served
The Red, White and Blue
She gave a part of her life
So others could be free
And without any hesitation
She joined unselfishly
She did her job well
With Honor and Pride
And served her great country
With the men alongside
We're proud today to know
That although she is gone
She goes on to glory
After a job "well done!"
