Patti Davis Obituary

Patti Bowes Davis, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the age of 55. She enjoyed a distinguished career managing accommodations, security and events for three U.S. presidents, many Hollywood celebrities and famous musicians during their stays at some of the finest hotels in New Orleans and Little Rock, including The Windsor Court, Le Pavillion, Royal Sonesta and The Capital Hotel. Additionally, Patti took great pride in managing weddings, conventions, press conferences, gourmet wine tastings and magnificent banquets to the delight of her clients. She was a 1978 graduate of Chapelle High School and attended St. Catherine of Siena elementary school. She loved the LSU Tigers, the Razorbacks, the New Orleans Saints and her cats, Molly, Spartacus and Punkin. Patti adored her husband and partner of nineteen years, Gary Davis, and is also survived by her mother, Alice Bowes Harris Collier; siblings, Albert H. Bowes Jr., John J. Bowes (Kay), Michael M. Bowes, Sr. (Judy), Mary B. Ashley (Rick); two aunts, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Her father, Albert H. Bowes Sr., precedes her in death. Visitation will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 beginning at 11am until Catholic mass at 1pm. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenwood Cemetery. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online, at www.GreenwoodFuneralHome.net.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Patti's family during this difficult time. We had great times with Patti and Gary. We are sorry we couldn't make the trip to New Orleans, but we are there in spirit and in prayer.

Ms. Patti, I like to say Thank you for all you done for us when we worked together, Its sad to see you gone but you're in a better with no worry, no pain, no suffer....Patti you are in Gods home with no worry, no clock ticking each hours, days, with things to do...You made it and when we come, we will be there. Its a Blessing to get to know you, work with you but guess what....You still smiling like always. Thank you again Patti!!!!
