Paul C. Perret Sr.

Paul C. Perret, Sr. went to be with The Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was a native and lived most of his life in New Orleans, LA. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, June Prattini Perret. They were married for almost 73 years. Son of the late Joseph Delery Perret and Cecilia Usner Perret. Brother of Leon Perret Sr., Vera Perret Chatelain, Kenneth Perret Sr. and the late Joseph Perret Jr., Emelda Perret Randazzo, Elaine Perret Sconza, and Robert Perret. Father of Connie Taylor, Paul Perret Jr., Jeanne Perret Umbdenstock, Debbie Perret Natal, and Yvette Perret Dussouy. "Papa" to his seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, Timothy Wolter Sr., Wesley Wolter, Christienne Wolter Connelly, Paul Perret III, Gregory Perret, Michelle Perret Magne, Ty Umbdenstock, Heather Umbdenstock Richardson, Brett Umbdenstock, Thomas Natal Jr., Patrick Natal, Amelia Natal Gerken, Julieanne Natal Lund, Roy Dussouy Jr., Fr. Charles Dussouy, Ashton Dussouy, Spencer Dussouy, Timothy Wolter Jr., Luke Wolter, Ella Wolter, Taylor Connelly, Leo Connelly, Paul Perret IV, Camille Perret, Gage Magne, Zoe Perret, Brook Martin, Briyanna Mendieta, River Umbdenstock, Ripley Natal, Nathan Gerken, Noah Gerken, Lilia Dussouy, Eleny Dussouy, Natalie Dussouy, Maci Dussouy. Paul attended St. Aloysius High School in New Orleans. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Louisiana State University (LSU). He was a retired self-employed Petroleum Geologist. Some of the things that he loved to do was dance with his wife, attend Mardi Gras events, LSU sports and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short St., Kenner, on Friday, June 18, 2021. Visitation will begin in Church at 1:00 p.m. with the Catholic Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider having Masses offered for the repose of his soul from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
