Paul Richoux Obituary

Paul Norbet Richoux died on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at his home. He was 75 years old. He retired in 1981 from the Missouri Pacific Railroad after 36 years of service. Beloved husband of 58 years of Rose Bonvillian Richoux, father of Gloria R. Brown, Perry Richoux and Glenn Richoux, father-in-law of David Brown, Mary Richoux, and Darlene Richoux, son of the late Norbert Richoux and Edma Bourgeois Richoux Barrilleaux. Brother of Edwina Richoux Hebert, Jeanne Richoux Chauvin, Edmond Richoux and the late Lee ""Pete'' Richoux, also survived by five granddaughters, Kim Perret, Anne Monzon, Kellen Chiasson, Richelle Richoux, Doty Richoux, one step grandson, Chris Brown, and five great-grandchildren, Brandon Poche, Andrew Perret Jr., Kelsey Perret, Kara Chiasson, and Cooper Monzon. A native of Larose, Louisiana and a resident of Westwego for the past 65 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also Missouri Pacific Railroad and members of the Westwego Civic Association are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel of WESTSIDE/ LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, on Thursday, July 17, 2003, at 1:00pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
