Pearlie Mae Barrios Cobb, age 62, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. A native of New Orleans, LA, Pearlie was the daughter of the late Camille Barrios and the late Cecile Loupe Barrios. Loving wife of the late Lonnie Dale Cobb for 39 years. Mother of Katina Buzbee (Timothy Sr.), the late Tommy Rivet Jr., Shantelle LeBouef (Sidney Sr.), Amberlynn Underwood (Brandon), and Shane Prestenbach. Grandmother of Tyler J. Aucoin (Stephanie), the late Tanner Aucoin, Miranda M. Aucoin (Shae), Timothy L. Buzbee, Jr., Gabriel J. Buzbee, Camillia C. LeBouef (Carl), and Sidney J. LeBouef, Jr. (Gabrielle), Wyatt A. Weems, Logan Lee Underwood, Kabyl J. Underwood, Orryn S. Underwood, Patty Prestenbach, Evie Prestenbach, and Bentley Prestenbach. Great-grandmother of Jaxson, Kylie Grace, Nathan, Joseph, and Asher. Sister of the late Barbara Trahan, the late Gloria Shoemake, the late Cherrile Barrios, Betty Cantrelle, Larry Barrios, Sr., and Glenda Matherne. Pearlie also had a special place in her heart for Victoria Kidwell, Mikey, Caiden, and Dominick. Pearlie always enjoyed time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. The family would like to extend a special debt of gratitude not only to Dr. Russo, Dr. Varghese, Dr. Palit and all of their staff, but also the whole Davita family for their care of Pearlie throughout her time. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey at 1:30PM on Monday, May 3, 2021. Visitation will begin at 11:30AM. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor cemetery in Westwego, LA. All visitors must wear their own masks and keep a social distance.
