Mom,
You are missed dearly, but I know you are close by. Tonight I am listening to Dean Martin and making meatballs thinking fondly of you....

Peggy was a wonderful friend who always found a way to make me laugh. But she also didn't have a problem giving me her piece of mind on any subject! She will definitely be missed .

I will always remember your absolute joy in being a teacher and your utter frustration...usually on the same day and with the same students. I will also remember your beautiful smile. R.I.P., Peggy.

To Peggy's children and family,
I was privileged to work with Peggy at L W Higgins High School for years. She was an excellent English teacher, knowledgeable and caring. Peggy tried to make sure all the students in her classes received the best education she could give them. She was a bright light and a comforting presence among the faculty; she cared for all of us and loved a good party. I will cherish these good memories of Peggy always.

I was truly blessed to have Peggy as a mentor (when I was a brand-new teacher) and later as a friend. She exuded vibrance for life and love to all who knew her. I remember over twenty years ago when a group of us went to the Treasure Chest Casino to listen to a band and we were dancing to "Walking on the Sun"--she truly danced like no one was watching. I will always remember her free spirit and kind heart.

Jenny, Jeff, & Billy,
As you know I've loved your mom for about thirty years, and we have enjoyed happy times and suffered some bad. You three were always her deepest care. Nothing and no one ever made her smile, and sometimes cry, more than the three of you. I sometimes felt like I had been to your ball games and ballets when she'd talk about those times. Talking and thinking about you all brought on her best smiles.
Guy and I will miss her -- just like so many others. You will not be alone in your grief. Please find solace in that.
