Dearest Donna Alicia and tisha, I am so sorry for your loss, Pete was a great friend, father, and confidant. He will be sorely missed, although his passing leaves broken hearts the memories he leaves behind bring warm feelings and a sense of healing knowing this was a great man whom will surely be watching over n protecting us from above. I love your family with all my heart n soul and am a better man from lessons Pete taught me, u girls were the sparkle in his eyes n the light of his life, he will b loved n missed, but never forgotten

Alicia, Tisha, I remember your dad well. I hadn't thought of him since back in those days when it seems we all spent every day together, those were some fun times, if life could be as simple now. I remember always being welcomed at your house, and your dad always treating me as a friend, and made me feel welcomed to be there, always.You don't get that from everybody's parents. I will always remember those times and your family, take care.

Me. Pete, it's funny but I always think of you every time my husband does anything around the house . He always has to call me "LARA" I need your help, come here" . You always did that with Ms. Donna when we were kids."DONNA, come here and help me." I never really thought about it back then but now I know how it is to really NEED and love someone the way you did Ms. Donna. And the respect you and your daughters had for each other was wonderful. The way it's supposed to be. I don't get aggravated anymore when he asks me for help all the time. I cherish it. Every moment. Thank you. You are a wonderful man, father, husband, friend.

So sorry to know Pete left so early, but am certain that he is in the very best place (with the Lord). I pray the long journey of grief will be buffered by memories of great joy and fun in the lives of this lovely family. 2012 has been rough for losing loved ones, our Bridgette and so many others we love. I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Mr. Pete and loved every minute I spent with him and you guys. I have so many great memories of him when I would come over to stay with Tee. Although I didnt have the pleasure of knowing Mr.Pete, I do know his daughter,alicia. And I know for sure that it takes a great man to raise such an amazing woman! The unwavering love she has for him is a testament to what a amazing father he was! If heaven has a Saints Sports Bar, I hope he is sharing a beer and a laugh with my daddy.
