Philip Fernand Kerlec Jr.

Philip Fernand Kerlec, Jr. passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA. Philip proudly served his country in the 101st Army Infantry, during the Vietnam War from 1970-1971. He was an avid LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Boston Red Sox fan. Beloved husband of Cecilia Seher Kerlec. Loving father of Lloyd Kerlec (Marcy), and Philip Kerlec, III. (Jennifer). Son of the late Philip Kerlec and Lillian Kerlec. Brother of Armand Kerlec, Harry Kerlec (Victoria), Michael Kerlec, Thomas Kerlec, and the late Frank Kerlec and Kathleen Mobley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St., LaPlace on Friday, June 3, 2022. Visitation at church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home.
