Mrs. Marliene, I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Phil's passing. We all know what a good man and friend he was to my parents. I'll always have good memories of going into the Marina and daddy rushing in ahead of us to talk to him. Y'all were one of the first friends mom and dad had when they moved to Slidell. He will be surely missed. He was loved by all who met him. Love you, Susan Elsensohn (Ulee's daughter)

Dearest Marliene and children,
It is with a very sad Heart that we say goodbye to our dear friend of 55 years. I know we are not related by blood but we always have been close enough to feel that we were. If there is ever anything that we can do for any of you, we are just a phone call away. We love each of you.

I was so surprised at his passing, but reminded myself that his was a 'Life well lived'. I never met him but frequented Phil's many times with/out family, friends, associates since '94!! One if my favorite places to dine, drink and be merry. After retiring and joining a Dinner Group, we met weekly and always included Phil's every few weeks. How can you miss someone you never met!! God bless the family and your memories.
