Philip Schoen Obituary

Philip J. Schoen, IV, 66, a resident of the Mars Hill community in Amite Co., passed away October 6, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He was born July 31, 1948 in New Orleans to Philip J. Schoen, III and Denise Galatorie Schoen. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School and attended LSU. He was operations manager for Dunaway Food Service in McComb. He was a member of the McComb Evening Lions Club; O.T.M.A.C in New Orleans and Christian Motorcycle Association. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ellen Schoen, and a brother-in-law, David Brown. He is survived by his wife, Denise Brown Schoen of Mars Hill; two sisters, Denise Schoen of Mandeville and Sally Breithoff and husband, Bill of River Ridge, LA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dennis and Leah Brown of Niceville, FL, Danny and Linda Brown of Madisonville, LA, Debbie and Butch Brown of Magnolia, Darla and John Hutson of Mars Hill and Danita Brown of Kenner, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is Thursday from 5PM until 8PM at Sharkey Funeral Home, 1023 Old Brookhaven Road in Summit, MS and Friday from 10AM until services at 11AM. Memorials may be sent to CMA, Run For The Son; or, Humane Society of USA. Share condolences at catchingsfuneralhome.com
