To the family of Phyllis Dase:

I will continue to keep you in my prayers, asking God to strengthen you and keep you.

I feel I've lost a good friend. We always talked about the children and grandchildren. We had a good working relationship. She was always there for me.

Phyllis was a sweet, kind lady with a beautiful smile. I am so sorry to learn that she has passed away; I wish I had known about this in time to pay my respects at the funeral. Phyllis was so much fun--I really enjoyed talking with her when I worked at NOLAC. I can only imagine how much she will be missed. I will keep her family and her friends at NOLAC in my thoughts and prayers.

Phyllis always had a colorful story to tell that made me laugh. I will miss her very much. I know that she is at peace with Our Father, and she will be remembered in my prayers. To all of her family members, please remember that her spirit lives on through you. May God be with you now during this sorrowful time, and always.

To The Family:

Phyllis played many roles in my life during the six years that I worked with her at NOLAC. There were days when she was my friend, confidant, advisor and sometimes even a surrogate mother. Her laughter and smile will remain forever in my heart. I am truly blessed to know that someone so special touched my life for such a brief period in time. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Always remember when no one else seems to understand just how much you have lost, know this, GOD knows because he cared enough to send you his very best in one Phyllis Melton Dase.

God grants us time with our love ones. When he has a need for his children, he calls them home.

Albert, your wife; Chris, Reggie and Manny, your mother, Edna your sister and my friend was God's choosen one, his child (she expressed this many times). God decided that it was time for her to join his Army. Her task here was over, she finished the race and won the battle, she has the victory. Life for her has begun.

Remember, God can give you strength during these times, keep your eyes focused on Him. He is able to see you through.

Thank God for the beautiful memories you have, she loved her family, she was a jewel.

Albert, Chris and the family, my prayers are with all of you.

Phyllis was a truly sweet and gracious lady who always had a kind or funny word for everyone at our office. She was a very proud mother and grandmother. She will be sorely missed.

Ms Phyllis:

My life has been enriched and strengthen by knowing you. I will always cherish our talks together. You were more than a secretary. You were a friend, a second mother, a confidant, and a shoulder on which to lean in troubled times. I will miss you very much.

Love always,

John

Each morning before we begin our work day, we would spend 30 min. sharing work problems, family problems or whatever. I will always miss our special times in the mornings. I will remember you and miss you always.
