Rachel Ramon Avergel Crider

Rachel Ramon (Avergel) Crider died unexpectedly at the age of 50 in her sleep on the morning of July 13, 2023 at her home in Ponchatoula, LA. Rachel is survived by her mother, Beverly Faubion; her father, Daniel Avergel and his wife, Theresa Avergel; her children, Mischa, Tommy III, and Daniel Crider; her sisters, Vanest Avergel, Yvette (Avergel) Wolford, Jacqueline (Avergel) Schaul, Ashley Faubion, Nicole Faubion; her brother, Bryan Virga; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lee Crider, Jr., and her brother, Michael Rene Lott. Rachel was born in New Orleans, LA on August 21, 1972. She worked as a Draftsman-Project Engineer at Texas Service Industries in Austin, TX before starting her family. On April 2, 2008, she married Captain Tommy Lee Crider, Jr. of the United States Army. Together they had three children who were the most important part of their lives. Rachel, known as artistic, stylish, spiritual, and passionate by all who knew her, enjoyed raising her children and making jewelry with her husband during their life together. They raised their beautiful, talented children to be responsible, artistic, and studious. Rachel, along with her husband, Tommy, Jr., will be interred at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery columbarium in Slidell, LA. Rest in peace, my beautiful sister.
