Ramon Castro Obituary

Ramon Dario Castro passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Betty Castro for 58 years. Father of Cristina Paredas (Alan), Margaret Hubert (Howe), Doris Klinner (Rickey) and David Castro (Elizabeth). Son of the late Crescencia Rivera Castro and Francisco Castro. Brother of Francisco Castro (Ada). Grandfather of Alan, Carlos, Bridget, Jacob, Joshua, Gabrielle, Cecilia, and Bennett. Great grandfather of Carlos, Alan, Luis and Shiloh. Ramon was a business owner for many years and a Plant manager for El Sol, Inc. where he worked for 30 years and retired. He enjoyed all sports, wood-working, and spending time with his family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Calvary Baptist Church, 2401 General De Gaulle Dr., New Orleans, LA 70114 on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10am. Visitation will follow in the Fellowship Hall from 11am until 12:30pm. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
