Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Randy and I were close friends during our Jesuit High years ans at LSU. I moved away and we touched base periodically and we saw each other last at our 25th Jesuit reunion. He was a fine individual with a kind heart.
I shall miss him greatly.
My deepest condolences to all you family members and friends.

I was grateful when I called you Uncle Randy. (Although we talked about it numerous times, we'll forget my teenage years, when I thought I was smarter than you!) I was blessed beyond measure, when I began to call you Dad ❤, which was only known by a specific chosen group. You were the one person during a very difficult decade in my life, that chose to always be there for me. Without fail you would; listen, talk, encourage me, love and accept me unconditionally... without an ounce of judgement, regardless of what was going on in your own life. Not a person living on this earth hasn't made mistakes... However, you are a true example of how God desires us to treat and love others. My prayer is that God will change my heart, to become more like you. You were the only person that truly ever knew me. As a result, I was able to share anything and everything with you. Although we spoke less over the 2 years, following the commitment ceremony between you and Lynn, it was necessary. I knew you and Lynn needed that time together and I needed to learn to depend more on God, to find my way out of the difficulty. As a result, both worked out beautifully❣ The moment I met Lynn and she welcomed me with open arms and an open heart, it described perfectly, how much you had told me you loved her ❤ I'm grateful you and Lynn were so happy together and took care of one another, in ways you each needed ❤ I love you and miss you tons. But like you said, you will be with me everyday and we will see each other again
