Ray Zeringue Obituary

ZERINGUE Ray P. Zeringue, Sr. passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 9:45 PM. Age 85 years and a lifelong resident of Ama, LA. Beloved husband of the late Edith Troxler Zeringue, for 61 years. Father of Sandra Zeringue, Glyn Rae Z. Roussel and husband Alvin "Joe", Ray P. Zeringue, Jr. and wife Cindy, and Karen Z. Bice and husband Steve. Son of the late Wilfred J. Zeringue, and Alcina R. Zeringue. Brother of the late Mabel Guillot, Inez Bourgeois, Lena Jambon, Ruby Zeringue, Ada Zeringue, Wilfred, Victor, and Norman Zeringue. Grandfather of Eddie Price, Jr., Lisa Roussel, Lyndsey Bice, Joseph Roussel, Ryan Zeringue and Rachel Zeringue. Mr. Zeringue was a United States Marine Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was member of the American Legion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark Catholic Church, 10771 River Road, Ama, LA, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
