Reba Buynak Obituary

Reba T. Wineland Buynak, 93, a resident of Country Meadows of Wyomissing for four years, formerly of Montrose Manor, passed away Oct. 31, 2008, at 12:45 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she was a patient since Oct. 24.

She was the widow of Donald C. Wineland, who passed away Dec. 10, 1980; and Albert Buynak, who passed away in 1999.

Born in Poteau, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Steven and Anna (Peters) Essary.

She was last employed as a bookkeeper at Diller's Jewelry Store, West Reading, for 10 years until retiring in 1987.

Reba was a member of Mountain View Fellowship Church of God since 1946, serving as chairwoman of the worship committee, member of the Guiding Council, a teacher and choir member.

Surviving are a son, Donald C., and his wife, Susan Wineland, Downingtown; a stepdaughter, Helen, wife of Ton Hartigan; two grandchildren, Chad and Abbey Wineland; two step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katie Hartigan; and a sister, Marie (Essary) Brooks, Columbus, Ohio.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, with the Rev. Jeffrey R. Hain officiating. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mountain View Fellowship Church, 1255 Hampden Blvd., Reading, PA 19604. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
