I shall miss this grand lady who was one of the last of the great French Creole families of New Orleans. I shall reflect on the happy times with my friend Nick Soniat at Jesuit and how we all had crushes on his lovely sister Gina. Most of all I will remember Sidney and Regina who were always the soul of kindness and the most gracious of hosts. Mme. Soniat, New Orleans is the poorer without you and Heaven is now an even better place.
