To the family of Reuben Bernard, Jr.
I would like to extend my my heart felt feeling in the lost of your love one. I have known the Bernard family since I was a little girl with memories of me spending time in the lower nineth ward where Reuben grew up. He would ride me from his house to our aunt house on Charbonet St. after spending time playing with his sisters. He was my extended cousins from my aunt. But we badging as a family. Then later on in life we both had daughters whom became friends that dre us back together again. He even was a grandfather figure to my grandson DJ who Marlene took care of . He would take DJ on the bus just for a ride that they both enjoyed. He was truly a very good man, husband, father, and grandfather. He will truly be miss. My prayer is that Hod give you all the strength to continue to carry on , your strength comes from the Lord, Lean of him during those hard times. GID BLESSTJE FAMILY

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~From a headstone in Ireland

Although it's difficult today to see beyond your sorrow, may looking back at the memories help comfort your tomorrows. Know that God is for you and with you during this time. May He bring comfort to you today, tomorrow and always. Turn to Him for your strength and your tomorrows.
