Joe and I were fortunate to have he and Sharon at our wedding and he was welcoming then and always. I felt a part of the family in his eyes. I can only say how sorry I am to hear of the lose but feel blessed and fortunate to have enjoyed so many great times with him, Larry and Jimmy. I feel lucky I was able to share a brief moment with him after so many years apart, just last year at the races in Austin which was a passion for him, his brother Jimmy and myself. No matter how long the time had been in just a split second his huge smile and warth bridged the gap. He is and has always been a remarkable man, husband and father. May he rest in peace and hope the entire family can find comfort in knowing he is in heaven and at peace. God Bless

Renee and Family,
Richard holds a very special place in my heart. He was one of the most humble, pleasant, and entertaining human beings that I knew. It was a joy to be around him. He would bring joy to anyone who was around him. When our home flooded with Hurricane Isaac, Richard was the first one to arrive to help us gut out the house and the last one to leave. That is a testament to the type of person he was. Adonis has learned so much from him and I thank God that Richard was a part of our lives. My prayers are with you and your family. I'm sure he is entertaining right now in Heaven.

I've known the Mancini's since their arrival in New Orleans from New York. What a dynamic and thoroughly caring family. I was able to find the attached picture of Richie sailing on Miss Sunbeam. Richie was so wonderful - we even visited with him in Savannah (or what it Charleston) when he was working at la Toque. May all the good memories of Richie last forever and ever.

It was with a heavy heart when we learned of Richards passing. Distance does not equate to emotion. When Richard married into our family, we embraced him as ours.
