To the Meade Family,
I will never forget the memories I shared knowing Aunt Rita. She was a funny and kind person to me. I know she is resting peacefully. You are all in my prayers.

Growing up I lived for stories my Maw-Maw and Dad would tell me about Aunt Rita and all her adventures in and around the city. I admired her will to be different and lead her own life. She was a special, talented, and warm lady. We will all miss her very much and will remember Aunt Rita and all her legendary stories.

Aunt Rita was my Auntie Mame. She was beautiful, vivacious, and one of a kind. Some of my fondest childhood and young adult memories are adventures she dreamed up. I will miss her.
