Robert Frank "Bobby" Bossenmeyer

Robert ""Bobby"" Frank Bossenmeyer, age 75 of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully August 31, 2016 with his loving family and friends at his side. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana December 08, 1940. He was married to Debra Carlos Bossenmeyer on October 03, 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Anthony Bossenmeyer and Rose Marie Stempel Bossenmeyer and his brother Joseph Bossenmeyer. He is survived by his loving wife and daughter Debra Carlos Bossenmeyer and Ashley Bossenmeyer Dartez (Jeremy); three grandchildren Jackson, Brennan and Ridge Dartez; sister Shirley Fernandez (Jerry); niece Debbie Fernandez Loev; great-niece Dana Loev Radu; brother in-law Patrick Carlos; sister in-law Cynthia Sedillo; his Godchild Marla Hubble and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert served in the US Coast Guard and was a hairdresser for many years. He had a passion for his business Jude Travel Park and Guesthouse in New Orleans where he and his wife successfully owned and operated ""The Park"" for over thirty years. Bobby loved spending time with his daughter and his three beautiful grandchildren. The family would like to recognize the loving care provided by the nursing staff from St. Theresa Specialty Hospital that came to their home and comforted him and the family. Bobby will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew him, especially his furry friend Jude. Visitation for friends and family will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday, September 08, 2016 at 9:00 am – 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum 4841 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
