Robert Joseph Feliu

1943 - 2024

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Robert Feliu, who left this world peacefully on July 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Robert, (Bob or Bobby), born to Paul and Hazel Feliu, was born and raised in New Orleans. He served six years in the U.S. Navy, and a member of the American Legion Post 366 since 2011, serving as Chaplain and Sergeant of Arms for several terms. Bob's loving spirit is carried on by his beloved and beautiful wife of 61 years, Gladys (Marie), their devoted children, daughters Rhoda and Robin and her life partner Don, along with grandchildren and spouses, Allison and Frank, Brad and Tiffany, Krista and Joseph, and Kim and Larry, along with great grandchildren Ella, Bennett, Owen, Sophie, Quinn, Jameson and, Cooper, his loving sister Beverly and his brother Glenn and wife Gerri. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Wayne, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary, and brother-in-law Jay. "Your presence we will miss, your memory we will treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never." To honor Bob's memory, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA 70047.
