Robbie’s death shocked us. He was a good and kind hearted soul, and I loved him. I was proud of the way he treated people. It did my heart good to see how many people came to bid him farewell. Sometimes the good do die young. Someday, I hope to see him again. He was good to me and mine. He would always want to give you the shirt off his back even if it was his last. I loved him and believe he carried out the golden rule. Thinking about him makes me miss him. We had some seriously long phone conversations whereby we explored the mysteries of life. I will miss a good friend and brother. Farewell brother – love Sister.

Two words would always put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart, those words were BIG ROBBY. Now they bring tears to my eyes. He was one of a kind; sincere and dear. A kind and gentle soul. Like so many others said, he made everyone feel special with whole sincerity. I can still see the twinkle in his eyes, hear the kindness in his voice and feel the warmth in his hug. I will miss him greatly.

I will never forget my Uncle Robbie. What a generous, loving man. He is an example to us all for his generosity and the love that he gave. He cared for all of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He had a way of making you feel very special. You always knew how much you meant to Uncle Robbie, he always showed how much cared. I will never forget him playing his guitar and singing Puff the Magic Dragon to my sister and I as a lullaby when we were little. My heart is deeply saddened. I know he will be there waiting for me in Heaven along side Uncle Eddie and Grandpa. I love you very much Uncle Robbie and can't wait to give you a big hug when I get there.

When I think of Uncle Robbie, I think of a wonderful, caring, and very loving man. He first came into my life in the late 80's and has been a very dear friend and great uncle. I think of all of the wonderful things that he has done for me and my family and I am eternally grateful to have known him. I will treasure the great memories that I have of him from being at my graduation, camping trips, swimming parties, working at the campground, and going fishing in Grand Isle.
I love you and miss you dearly!

I loved Robbie as a wonderful brother,(by marriage). He was always such a loving, caring and very generous man!Everyone loved him!

I met Robbie 44 years ago and had the pleasure of growing up with him in my life. We shared great times together; bonfires, camping, fishing and endless events/parties, especially the time he escorted me to my 15 year high school reunion when Steve had to work.

Robbie always had a very inviting grin on his face. Without a doubt, everyone felt very welcomed by his smile. What an attractive man he was, inside and out!

Robbie was such a great Uncle to my children. They all have such fond memories of the camping trips to Grand Isle with Robbie including once when it stormed. That was quite an experience they will never forget!

I remember going to Mardi Grads parades with Robbie and my first and only trip to the French Quarter during Mardi Gras.

I love Robbie Koch and will never forget him as the beautiful person he was on earth. I will miss him until we are all reunited in God's kingdom.

Uncle Robbie always knew how to make everyone laugh and feel good about themselves. He always told all the girls how "gorgeous" they were and the boys how awesome they were. All of us are so blessed to have an Uncle like Uncle Robbie. We love you Uncle Robbie.

Robbie Koch
My friend, my brother, my children's Uncle Big Robbie. He came into my life when I first got to this area in the early 80's. My husband Babbo's name is Robert. My son's name is Robert, but we called him Robby. And so Robbie Koch became Big Robbie. Big Robbie came to all the functions - from Kindergarten graduation to College graduation. Big Robbie was there for all the sporting events - from playground T-Ball to Middle and High School Football and Baseball. Big Robbie was there for family get-togethers - Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Reunions. Big Robbie was there when friends came to Crawfish Boils, Camping, and Parades. I e-mailed my family in Texas, Wisconsin, Hawaii, and Arizona to tell them of Robbie's passing. One of my sisters wrote back and said "What a Treasure is Gone". But Robbie will live on through all of us; in our hearts and in our memories. I love you - my friend, my brother, my children's Uncle Big Robbie.
