Bobby was indeed a legend, a dedicated and thorough preparer, and a Unique One of a Kind Performer. Met him in a talent show at a theatre on Elysian Fields 50+ years ago. Worked with him and some incredible musicians over the years. Bobby will indeed be missed. RIP my Friend.

my sympathy goes out to Bobby's family. Bobby faithfully played for our family reunion every year for the past 15 years or so. Even when he was sick he would still come and play, Bobby was the best part of our reunion, playing Louis Prima songs along with Italian dancing music. We will miss you dearly. On behalf of the Centanni clan THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES, Debbie Centanni(Bartholomew)

Bobby was a great entertainer and was much loved by all the residents of Lake Sherwood Village where he played for the Mardi Gras Ball and Halloween Dance every year. He truly kept Louie Prima and New Orleans music alive for all of us. Thanks for the gift of music and joy that he brought to everyone.

Bobby was always the consummate musician. He loved and lived his music. He always showed us the greatest respect and recognition. That respect went both ways. God has His own method and plans for taking care of our loved ones. Now Bobby is playing in the golden harp band. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. Luv Ya Bobby.

To Bobby's wife and daughter, I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. I remember Bobby from years ago when he used to visit Ms. Norma and Mr. John Allen and I was dating Ms. Norma's son, Joe. He was so nice and was such a good musician. I remember his album he had with a song Mr. John wrote for Ms. Norma called "A Diamond, A Ruby and a Pearl". He sang that song so beautifully. Rest in Peace, Bobby. You can sing to Ms. Norma and Ms. Connie in Heaven now and they can dance for you!

Along with a million Bobby stories, there have been countless smiles & joyous laughter from legions of people whom you have made happy with your extraordinary talent. Bobby Lonero, you touched & made happy the hearts of the very old, the young and everyone in between. The music legend that was my half-brother will be greatly missed. I pray the choirs of angels have come to greet you & escort you to that final musical stage, enfolded in God's mercy along with Da, Louie, Mildred & all those received into His eternal light.
