To Carole, Sloane and Hadley: Roger was and will always be a friend, contemporary and mentor to me. Our great times together, personally and professionally, aside from talking legal issues as we loved to do, were more consumed with talk of always striving to be the best men to our wives and best fathers to our children. Roger shall always be in the hearts and minds of those he knew and embraced, without question, and the legacy he leaves with all of us until we see him again is one of grace, intelligence, dedication, compassion and perseverance. With utmost love and respect, Brandon

How saddened I am to read of Roger's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Roger when I worked for Liberty Bank many many years ago. He had such a passion for life and always such a kind person. I knew Roger from law school, and dealt with him and Lenny both over the years. They were always above board. There was always something unique about Roger that I couldn't quite particularize, and I don't know who wrote the obituary, but you hit the nail on the head; he was a "true Renaissance man". I had talked with him a few months or so ago, and did not know if he was ill, but it is always sad to lose a contemporary. My condolences to the family and friends.

Dearest Carole,
Although we haven't connected in several years, I remember you and Roger at a Calico Party. My heart goes out to you as I know what you are going through as I lost my beloved Al 2 years ago. Take it one day at a time and don't try to push yourself too hard. Time has a way of softening the hard pains you are suffering now.
