Romalis Nicholas Jenkins Jr.

JENKINS Romalis Nicholas Jenkins, Jr. passed away on Monday, February 4th, 2013, in Nampa, Idaho while in the loving arms of his devoted wife, Versa Lee King Jenkins. He waged a valiant two year battle with the residual effects of a stroke. Born May 23, 1954 in New Orleans, La., Romalis graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force with a military career at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. From his first marriage to Marilyn Rousch Jenkins is one daughter, Sasha Jenkins Rojas-Zaragoza (Ramiro). Julia, Wesly, Isaac and Mia are the grandchildren he so dearly cherished. Romalis is the son of the late Romalis Nicholas Jenkins, Sr. and Almena Curley Jenkins. He is survived by siblings Dr. Debra Jenkins Farve (Reynaud) of Ontario, California, Zeta Ann Jenkins, Karl A. Jenkins (Jacqueline), Desiree Jenkins Ellis (Troy), Bridget Jenkins, and Kirk Jenkins, all of New Orleans, La. He is preceded in death by siblings Keith Jenkins, Sr. and Hannah Sondra Jenkins Green (Michael). He is also survived by stepdaughter Jennifer Cavazos (Terry), sisters-in-law Marion Heilig, Becky Fackrell, Sallianne Rohr and brother-in-law Dennis Frandsen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held in Boise, ID. with full military honors. The Cremation Society of Idaho is in charge.
