My lovely friend, Rosalind and I have endeared each other since childhood. We worked together and shared an office while working for the Recovery School District. She was a thoughtful and generous person. She touched many lives during her career and personal life. She thought of others before self. God, family, church, church projects, and the precious children of the public schools were her world. We'll all miss her smile, advice, lovely ways and generousity. We loved her but God loved her best.

May the entire family find peace during this difficult time. Dr. Green and I had offices next to each other at Xavier University until Hurricane Katrina. My wife Madeleine and I have such fond memories of Rosalind. She was so good and full of spirit. She will be missed.

Whenever we met, we always enjoyed catching up on the livess of our children. She was a lovely lady and touched many students. Dr. Green will be missed.

As a former neighbor of Rosalind I was saddened to hear the news of her passing. I will always remember Rosalind along with her mother, Mrs. Barnes; they epitomized the southern genteel lady.

Ros was one of my role models when I was a little girl and as I grew to womanhood she remained a dear friend to the Pierce family. We loved her as a sister and will miss her dearly. My you feel God's loving arms around you as you go through your time of bereavement.
