Ruth Rodgers Carter entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Mother of Jerome (Sonya) Carter Sr., Alfred Carter Sr., Jerome (Tiffany) Carter Jr. and Bernadette Hunter; Daughter of the late Alfred and Louise Simpson Rodgers; Sister of Edward C. (Helen) Rodgers and the late Will Rodgers; Grandmother of Tiffany, Ruth, Baylor, Giovanni, Gainni, Santino and Alfred. Also survived by her beloved poodle, "Coach Carter", a host of other relatives and friends.
