Dr. Scott Thompson Fowler died on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Alexandria, LA due to complications following a recent surgery. He is the son of the late John Norman Fowler and Margaret Christina Fowler. He is also survived by his daughter, Ainsley Catherine Fowler of Alexandria, LA and brother, Kent Howard Fowler (Marla) of Mandeville, LA, niece, Christina Elizabeth Fowler, nephew, Grant Christian Fowler, and an uncle, Thomas R. Fowler (Kathy) of Brinklow, Maryland. Scott, age 54, was born January 28, 1967 in Arlington Massachusetts. He grew up in Metairie, LA. He graduated from Jesuit High School, attended Georgia Tech University, earned a bachelor's degree from Tulane University and a medical degree from LSU School of Medicine. He was employed on staff at Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville, LA as an E. R. Doctor. Concurrently, he was an attending physician at a local health and diet clinic. With this experience, he soon established the Alexandria Medical Clinic. From childhood on, he had a great love of knowledge and learning. He was an excellent student and was passionate about his special interests. One of them being aviation for which he earned a pilot's license.
