Sean Maurice "Squirt" Wesley

Sean 'Squirt' Maurice Wesley was born on September 10, 1974, in New Orleans, La. He was 48 years old. On Wednesday February 1, 2023, Sean passed away peacefully in Detroit, Michigan where he lived for the past three years. Sean was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa Wesley and O' Neal Davenport. Sean was also preceded in death by his son, Romello Sean Wesley. He was the father of Dereck Meyers, Sean LeBeau, Jeremiah Black, Sr., Nia Wesley, Paris Maulet, Dyneisha Longmire and Amaya Riley. He leaves to mourn his siblings, Zina Wesley, Charmaine Wesley Butler, Donovan Davenport, Lois, Karrie and Darrow Curtis. His step siblings, Andrea, Gilda and Floyd Curtis. Sean leaves to mourn his devoted companion, Sabrina Hicks; two grandchildren, Levi Meyers and Jeremiah Black, Jr.; four aunts, Catherine Grayol (Jimmy) Debra, Linda and Brenda Davenport; Six nieces, Jazonda and Destiny Wesley, Fredricka, Quintella, Quanette and Javonda Curtis; Four nephews, Frederick, Floyzell, Demond and Quindell Curtis. A host of great nieces and great nephews, 1 great great niece, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. New Orleans, La. 70125 on February 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
