Shaun Andrew Butler

Shaun Andrew Butler departed this earthly life peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the age of 42. Butler, as he was affectionally called by family and friends was a native of Metairie, LA. Shaun was the beloved son of Andrew Butler and Dianne Smith. Stepson of Laverne Butler and John Smith. Devoted father of Shaunta and Shauliaha Butler. He is survived by three sisters: La'Toya "TB" Fobb (Jay), Jazeel Coupel (Harrison) and Dionne Smith; four stepbrothers and two stepsisters. Shaun was a true blessing to many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Highway., River Ridge, LA on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Viewing will take place from 9:00am until 10:00am only. Service will start at 10:00am and will not include a final viewing. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
