Shirley Mae Ceasar entered her earthly life on March 16, 1934, in New Orleans, LA. She was born to the union of Nolan Wise and Rosalie Green. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Joseph K. Ceasar on March 16, 1991. Shirley Mae Ceasar, 89, departed this life on January 2, 2024, in Hinesville, Georgia. She has proceeded in death by her loving husband, Joseph K. Casear; her parents, Nolan Wise, and Rosalie Green; her grandparents, Richard Green, and Mary Williams; her daughter, Rosalie Lecoq; her son, Daniel Parker III; three brothers, Nolan, Richard Sr., and George Wise; and her son-in-law, Caleb Carter. Shirley Mae Ceasar leaves to cherish a legacy with her daughters, Mary Herring and Shirley Carter; two brothers, Michael and William Green; one niece, Krystal Pierre; sixteen grandchildren, Nathaniel, Sabrina, Harvey (Sandy), Rosalind, and Eugene Noah; Richard Wise; Daniel IV (KeyShawn), Dewayne, Darnell (Demetria), and Calinda Parker; Tawanda Herring Crayton (Lerone), Patrice, Michael Jr. (Cheletia), and Emmanuel Herring (Danielle); Anita Byrd (Kim) and Robin Carter; 72 great-grandchildren and 51 great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homecoming Celebration on Friday, January 12, 2024, for 10:00 a.m. at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church (old location), 2515 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117.
