Shirley 'Cornay' B. Picquet entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 13, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Picquet. Devoted mother of Michael and Paula A. Picquet. Daughter of the late Leona F. Miller and August Boisseau. Sister of Alex and Camilla Boisseau, the late Mildred Thornton, Charles and Milton Davis, Theresa Ramee and Clarence Boisseau. Niece of Olga Augustine. Grandmother of Shawndreka, Mikall and Michael Picquet, Jr. Sister-in-law of Shirley Boisseau, Willie Thornton, Sr., Frank Joseph Sr., Alice Carriere, Beatrice Sylve, Joyce Rhodes, Rhonda Picquet, Warren, Freddie and Joseph Picquet. Devoted cousin of Dolores Williams. Devoted friend of Eve Reeves, Yvonne Alfred, Geraldine Hall, Rose Jordan and Cabrina Jefferson. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Augustine and Corpus Christi Catholic Churches, employees of UNO, Methodist Home for Children and Alex Patout's Restaurant are invited to attend the Visitation and Wake Services will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1210 Gov. Nicholls St. on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. Visitation at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at the church.
