Lisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I can't walk past her front porch without stopping to say hello, and catch up on the day. She would generously share wisdom or laughter pending the topic. Mrs Shirley is greatly missed, sending everyone much love and prayers.

My grandma will be missed by many. She enjoyed everything " laissez le non temps roulette"! She gave me the BEST gift ever; her daughter/my mom: "Sylvia"... I acknowledged my grandma´s many contributions to my Culinary Skills in my first published cookbook. Grandma Shirley enjoyed Card Games and Casinos.
As a child I spent my weekends with my grandma in the kitchen cooking and cleaning. I also learned early on how to care for patients and show empathy through the countless times I sat with her for hours at Charity hospital. Grandma had hypertension. I will continue to keep her legacy in da kitchen alive.
I am praying for our entire family as we embrace our memories at the time.
