My grandma will be missed by many. She enjoyed everything " laissez le non temps roulette"! She gave me the BEST gift ever; her daughter/my mom: "Sylvia"... I acknowledged my grandma´s many contributions to my Culinary Skills in my first published cookbook. Grandma Shirley enjoyed Card Games and Casinos.
As a child I spent my weekends with my grandma in the kitchen cooking and cleaning. I also learned early on how to care for patients and show empathy through the countless times I sat with her for hours at Charity hospital. Grandma had hypertension. I will continue to keep her legacy in da kitchen alive.
I am praying for our entire family as we embrace our memories at the time.
