Sidney "Pat" Patterson

PATTERSON Sidney "Pat" Patterson passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the age of 83, after a long battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Virginia L. Patterson, his step-son John L. Farrell, his parents, and 2 brothers. He is survived by his daughter Susie Rizzo, his step-son Frank Farrell, and his grandchildren Rhonda Frye, John Farrell Jr., Frankie Farrell and Rachel Rizzo. Pat is also survived and fondly remembered by his 3 great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews and friends. He was born in Mt. Olive, MS, a resident of Arabi, LA for 28 years, and a current resident of Metairie, LA. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He later enjoyed a long career as a gourmet food salesman. He will be missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, on Thursday, July 18th from 9:00AM - 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00AM.
