My heart was sadden when I heard of my childhood friend "Tookie" transition. However, we know "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord." Tookie had such a sweet spirit and he always came back to his neighborhood and said hello to his friends, neighbors and especially my grandparents. He will truly be missed. To the Meyers family whom I have known all of my life, to his children and Grandkids, we send our deepest condolences. We are praying that God will comfort and strengthen each of you. Be Encouraged Tookie is Resting Peacefully.
